Going to auditions day after day, and not booking can be viewed as a daunting endeavor. Countless directors, and casting associates stare at you across a long table while you perform your monologue or some other piece of work determining your fate. That’s one way to look at the audition process. As for myself, I’ve decided to look at auditioning as an opportunity to explore my character and as another venue to share my work and talent.
Well into the second quarter of the new year I’ve begun to look at the audition process not as something to be feared, but rather as a great opportunity to showcase my skills. With that outlook failure never comes into the picture.
